Our flight didn’t leave til about 6:00 pm so we decided to book an Everglades tour to eat up some of the time and also because they will drop us off at the airport and will watch our luggage while we are on the tour. So we had to be up and ready by 8 that morning to get off the ship and get onto the bus. I have done a tour like this before, but this one is different, this one is more popular I think because the Gator Boys are associated with it.
What I liked about this one is that the boats are covered. It was extremely hot that day and not having the sun beating down on us was very nice and not worrying about our hats flying off our heads was also a plus. (Well the girl in the video kind of did, but we didn’t! :P)
We actually saw one alligator on the air boat ride so that was cool. I just can’t believe how pretty it was. The only thing that would have made it better is if it wasn’t so HOT!
After the boat tour we they had a little show, not very impressed by this one as much as our last tour, but it was still crazy to see this guy handling this huge Alligator! You couldn’t pay me enough to do that!
After the show we grabbed some snacks then headed back to the bus and onto the airport. We had such a great time, we had perfect weather and for the most part everything went pretty smoothly. A great trip with a great life long friend. You guys we have been friends since I was 4 and she was 5 years old! Her Family lived right across the street from us, my mom used to watch Becky after Kindergarten everyday for a few hours, some of my earliest memories are of her and I playing together. We have grown up together and gone through a lot together. Even though I moved to Utah and she moved to New York/ Pennsylvania, We have always kept in touch, we would call each other and talk on the phone for hours and visit each other whenever we could, but for the past three years Becky has lived in Utah and we have had so much fun together, I will miss our early Saturday morning movies, shopping trips, garage sales, Trips to Park City, Swiss days, lunch dates and our hours and hours of long talks about anything and everything under the sun… oh and of course our trip of a life time to the Bahama’s! I will never forget how much fun we had! I will miss you Becky, but as you know, this is not the end for us, it never will be, we are sista’s for life! Love ya Becky! Good luck in your new chapter in life, and know I am always just a text, snap, or phone call away!!
