If you are ever in Cozumel Mexico you have to visit Paradise Beach. The first time I went there was last summer with my family on a cruise for my parents 50th Anniversary. The whole time I was there I was thinking how much fun my boys would have out in the water on the water toys. So when my son asked to go on a cruise for his Graduation trip, I knew exactly where I wanted to go if we ended up going to Cozumel. The odds of us going to Cozumel were pretty high, since it’s a very popular port. Cozumel ended up being our first Port.
It’s only a short taxi ride to the beach from the Cruise port and its only $3 for use of lounge chairs and umbrellas, the only thing they ask of you is to spend at least $10 on food or drink per person. But for only $18 more you get access to all these floating water toys and kayaks and paddle boards! I think that is a pretty good deal! We paid for the full access passes and I think it was one of the highlights of our trip! There is just something about playing in the ocean that makes me feel like a kid again!
You also get access to the pool, it is a huge beautiful pool, with lounge chairs that are submerged into the water so you can cool off while laying out. We got lucky, we were the only cruise ship at port and there was hardly anyone at the beach with us!
They also have beautiful lush grounds and a few parrots that hang out over by the bar. Overall it’s a beautiful fun place to relax and play.
After a few hours of playing, relaxing, eating and sunbathing, we decided to head back to the port to do a little shopping before heading back to the boat. I think we all agreed it was one of our favorite days. I will definitely be back, If I get the chance.
