Mary Kay Timewise Repair Mask

After a full week in the sun, despite my efforts with the 50 SPF, I got a little too much sun on my face! I have always been a sun worshiper, and my body shows lots of sun damage and wrinkles, but I have always tried to be extra careful with my face, well I shouldn’t say always, as a teenager and in my early 20’s I didn’t care what you said I was going to be tan! It makes me laugh how different things seemed when I was younger, when people would tell me that the sun will make me look older when I’m 50, I can remember thinking, well Duh, 50 IS old, I won’t care, I’ll be a grandma by then!! LOL now my 48-year-old brain is thinking dang, 50 isn’t even that old, and I wish I would have listened! But I did start in my 30’s to always cover my face, I figured with my body I can always wear clothes to cover the damage but my face… not so much! So that was my thinking then… Now I wish I would have cared about my body too, but to be honest the sun makes me happy, so I will just have to live with crepey sun spotted, old lady skin 😦

Wait where was I?…Oh ya back to my face, despite my best efforts I got a little too much sun on my face on our cruise, How do I know?, well my freckles came out in full force, my skin got all tight and dried up and all wrinkle looking and I just looked extra old! Becky had given me a box of 4 face masks for my birthday, and now would be the perfect time for me to try them out. These are the Timewise Repair Masks from Mary Kay. So I took one out and put it on my face and laid down for about 30 minutes. It felt really good, I think I may have even fallen asleep for a few, it was kind of cool and relaxing. When my alarm went off, I just pulled it off and rubbed in whatever was left on my face. I didn’t know what to expect but my face felt AMAZING right after, kind of like it took a huge drink of water! I forgot to take a picture afterwards, because I was so relaxed I just fell asleep. I felt a huge difference when I woke up the next day too, It was just like my face was plumper and more alive? I don’t know exactly what it did but I am super excited to do my next one, I think I will do one every week until they are gone and see if I can reverse my week in the sun!
