I am embarrassed to admit this but I don’t think I have ever taken my kids to the pumpkin patch. I mean maybe I did when they were super little but I have no memory of it. I am such a bad mom! I am an activity days leader ( youth leader for my church) for the 10-11 year old girls, we decided to take them to the pumpkin patch this week which is literally down the street from us. I have driven past this for 12 years and paid zero attention to it! How is that possible? I mean I knew there were pumpkins there but I didn’t know they have hay rides, train rides, a little petting zoo with rabbits, goats, donkey and a lamb. You can even take a ride on a horse for $2.00! Pretty awesome. I have learned that I need to pay attention more of the things that are going around me. I am a little sad that I can’t go back 10 years and take my boys…Let’s be honest if I could go back 10 years I would probably do a lot of things differently 😛 I guess I just need to focus on the present and try to be more observant!!
**I also learned that goats have crazy eyes! I guess I have never been that close to a goat before, Who Knew??
