Pit Stains

I have been using Dawn Dish soap and hydrogen peroxide for quite some time now and it is a really good stain remover, but for some reason it doesn’t work on the pits stains like I would like it to.  I don’t know about you, but I get those ugly yellow pit stains on all of my white t-shirts/Cami’s that I wear , this is not something new, I have battled this for years, I just think I either sweat more than the average person, or I put too much deodorant on because I’m trying to stop all the sweating and I end up making things worse? Whatever it is, I hate it and it’s embarrassing, so I usually end up throwing away perfectly good shirts because of this. The other day on Facebook I saw one of those videos that shows a bunch of ways to clean or something like that, to be honest, I don’t really know what I was watching, I just know that I saw them put toothpaste on those yellow stains along with soap and maybe baking soda? not really sure,  but I thought, what if I use toothpaste with my Dawn and peroxide? I had a couple of T-shirts I had just washed and was about to throw away because they had gotten so bad, so I thought I would experiment on them.

This is super embarrassing but here is my “clean” shirt before.

first I added the toothpaste, Then the Dawn and Peroxide

Then I scrubbed the stained pits for a minute and let it soak for about 30 mins.

Before….And After! While it doesn’t look brand new, I think I can get away with a few more wears before buying a new one. Maybe if I treated them once a month or so it wouldn’t get to the point it got to before?? Or maybe I can just stop sweating already!!
