Who knew that I would love Nashville so much there would have to be a part 3?!? I loved it here so much and we did a lot but I think we could go back again and still find plenty of things to do that we didn’t already do, Like see Fireflies! I have never seen those before in my life! I still don’t believe they are real!
We were leaving Thursday evening so Wednesday Greg decided to rent a car for the last day so we could check out things that were a little further away and so that when we had to check out of our hotels the next morning we could have a place for our luggage and a ride to the airport.
We decided we needed to eat some BBQ while we were there, we looked it up and heard good things about Peg Leg Porker, so we headed over there for some lunch. I am not the best person to judge BBQ because they all tend to taste the same to me, I would say it was just alright.

After we ate we headed to a cute little shopping place called Marathon village. This is a bunch of buildings that formerly housed Marathon Motor Works in the early 1900’s. They turned them into super fun little shops.

I loved all the one of a kind type stores, we goofed around a bit and picked up a few souvenirs. They also had a tattoo shop, If you know me at all you know I’ve always wanted one. I checked them out but they told us they were too busy to fit me in, but they had another store a few miles away that could probably take us. I at first just took it as a sign that today is not the day, but Lucie called the other shop and they were not busy and could take us right away! So we headed over there. I Don’t think Doug really thought I would really go through with it, but yep I ended up getting my very first tattoo! It was Greg and Lucie’s anniversary so she decided to get one for herself too!

After the tattoos, we went to get some ice cream, then back to our hotels to rest up a little bit before going out. It was our last night in Nashville so we wanted to find a good place to hang out at and listen to some live music one last time. Of course I had to put on my cowboy hat and boots one last time too! We went to a few different bars but they were all so crowded, we ended up at a place called Lucky Bastards and we found a really good spot directly across from the band and so we ended up staying there till the wee hours of the night, we had a blast! listening to live music is one of my favorite things to do, so this was a perfect ending to a perfect week in Nashville!

Next morning we packed up and decided to take Greg and Lucie back the The Hampton Social for lunch. We liked it so much Doug and I ordered the exact same thing! I think everything we ordered there was delicious so I definitely recommend this place and it’s super cute too!

After lunch we had a little more time to kill so we went to the mall and did some shopping then it was back to the airport! What a fun trip! I loved every minute of it! I highly recommend Nashville! Also I think my alter Ego is a cowgirl! LOL I had a really fun time dressing up as a cowgirl that week! I will also say before I left I was sort of confused as to what to pack for Nashville, well it seems that anything goes but for the most part jeans (or shorts) and t-shirts and super casual were the norm, and no you do not need cowboy boots or hats, they actually weren’t around as much as you would think except for on Broadway of course! Nashville now holds a special place in my heart and on my wrist! Xoxo
